Communicorp Named "Best of the Best" in 2005 Best Workplace in the Americas Competition

COLUMBUS, Ga., Jan. 13 -- Outstanding human resource practices and a superior work environment were two of the distinctions that led to Communicorp’s fourth consecutive award as the “Best of the Best” in the 2005 Best Workplace in the Americas competition presented by the Printing Industry of the Americas and Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF).

The winning company is selected by a panel of highly respected U.S. and Canadian human resource professionals who have extensive experience within the graphic arts industry. The judges evaluate participating organizations on their human relations practices and awards the company that receives superior ratings based on specific criteria. The “Best of the Best” award goes to the organization found to actively demonstrate a caring work environment in which the personal goals and ambitions of employees are acknowledged.

The Columbus, Ga.-based printer is no stranger to receiving accolades. Communicorp has also been recognized by the Printing Industry Association as one of the Best Workplaces in America for the past six years. In 2005, Communicorp received four awards from the Advertising Federation of Columbus, Georgia, including the prestigious Best of Show distinction. The company received six awards from The Printing Industry of Georgia including three Awards of Excellence. Communicorp is also a past recipient of the coveted PIA Benny Awards.
