Communicorp Celebrates 25th Anniversary

COLUMBUS, Ga., / July 20, 2006- Communicorp, Inc. is pleased to announce their 25th Anniversary.

In 1967 in the west wing of Aflac´s original two-story building on Wynnton Road, six employees, two AB Dick presses, and one small Heidelberg press functioned as Aflac´s internal print shop, producing all of the applications, brochures, letterheads and business cards the company needed. Then in 1981, the company was chartered and officially became Communicorp, Inc., the wholly owned subsidiary of Aflac Incorporated.

This month, Communicorp is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Since its charter, Communicorp´s employees and printing presses have moved into its current location, and it has grown immensely. With almost 200 employees and 6 high-tech printing presses, the company is recognized as an industry leader, and has been the recipient of numerous awards from advertising, printing and graphic institutions, including the coveted Gold Award from the Printing Industry of Georgia and the nationally recognized Benny award from the Printing Industry Association.
