Communicorp Named to "Best Workplace in America"
List by Printing Industries of America
COLUMBUS, GA – October 12, 2001 – Communicorp has
been named by Printing Industries of America (PIA)
as one of the 64 winners of its second annual "Best
Workplace in America" award. Printing Industries of
America, with 14,000 national and international
members, is one of the oldest industry organizations
in America. Its main offices are in Alexandria,
Virginia.
The criteria for the contest were based on six
categories: Work Environment, Employee Training and
Development, Financial Preparedness, Personal Work
Life, Awards and Recognition, and Health and
Well-being. This was Communicorp’s first time to
enter its industry’s "best workplace" competition.
Communicorp is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aflac
Incorporated, the Columbus-based supplemental
insurance giant.
A special supplement highlighting PIA’s Best
Workplace winners will be included in the November
issue of the Graphic Arts Monthly.
