Aflac AND COMMUNICORP RECEIVE AWARDS FROM THE
ADVERTISING FEDERATION OF COLUMBUS
Columbus, Georgia - February 27, 2003 - Aflac and
Communicorp, Inc., a subsidiary of Aflac
Incorporated, have received 18 awards from the
Advertising Federation of Columbus. The awards,
which represent achievement by the companies' design
and marketing departments, were announced during an
awards banquet on February 22.
Aflac received three Addy Awards and one Gold Award
for design and production work for the company's
marketing department. (see attached list)
Communicorp, a strategic marketing company that
specialized in print collateral and corporate
incentive merchandise programs, earned one Addy
Award and 13 Gold Awards for its design work on
behalf of Aflac, The Ritz-Carlton, Old Biscayne
Designs, Paradigm Financial, the Springer Opera
House, Twin Cedars Youth Services and the United
Way.
The Advertising Federation of Columbus Addy Awards
Competition is the first of a three-tiered national
competition conducted annually by the American
Advertising Federation. It is the largest and most
representative competition for creative excellence.
