Communicorp Honored with Six PIAG Awards
For Outstanding Production WorkColumbus, Ga.
– May 6, 2005 – Communicorp, Inc. received six
awards during the 28th Annual Print Excellence
Awards Competition sponsored by the Printing
Industry Association of Georgia in recognition of
outstanding achievement in production of print work.
The Columbus, Ga. - based print design company
received a Best of Category awards for the
production of Buck Gardner Calls – “Champion of
Champions” promotional decals campaign and two
Awards of Excellence for a self-promotional campaign
entitled “Communicate,” and the Char-Broil “2004
Grill Product List.”
Additionally, Communicorp was honored with two
Awards of Excellence for work on the “Aflac 2005
Convention Calendar” and the “Aflac 2005 Convention
Qualification Brochure.” They were also presented a
Best of Category distinction for production of the
“Aflac 2005 Convention Poster.”

Judging for this annual competition is comprised
of a panel of printing specialists using an
impartial point system that ranks criteria that
includes registration, clarity and neatness;
sharpness of halftones and line drawings; richness
and tonal qualities of color; paper and ink
selection; ink coverage; difficulty of printing;
effective contrast or softness; overall visual
impact; bindery; and design and typography.
Besides its printing and design capabilities,
Communicorp services include the production of a
